Group show - 1010, Felipe Pantone, Jan Kaláb
The Collégiale St-Pierre-le-Puellier or the art of constant reinvention. For almost ten years, Galerie Danysz (Paris London Shangaï), a meeting place for artists, has been collaborating with the Orléans Town Hall to present exhibitions of contemporary art in the thousand-year-old church, always different, always captivating, giving a new perspective on this place steeped in history. Heritage and modernity merge in a symphony of shapes and colors that transports visitors to another world. Full of joy and delightful encounters.
“Divertimento”, the exhibition on show until August 29, is no exception to the rule. In an uncluttered, invigorating, neon-colored space, three artists – Felipe Pantone, Jan Kaláb and 1010 – engage in dialogue with one another for the very first time. This is probably the exhibition that plays the most with the architecture and light of the collegiate church,” points out Clémence Demolling, associate director of Galerie Danysz. We’ve opted for an exhibition guided by lightness and joy”. Hence the title, which evokes entertainment, “something playful, an explosion of color.”
